Rachel Sabo-Hedges (Eva)
Rachel is a proud southern-Jew who is an actor, director, and musician. Recent credits include: Parade with Hunter Foster (AD), So This Happened at Theater Lab NYC (Director), Cabaret hosted by Marilu Henner (Singer). Upcoming, Rachel will be assisting Hunter Foster once again in his direction of A Bridges of Madison County at Bucks County Playhouse and Directing a web series that is set to premiere in 2024. @rachelksabohedges
Sophie Mings (Brenda)
Sophie Mings is thrilled to be a part of this project! Originally from Texas, Sophie is a recent graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma’s musical theatre program, and now is based in NYC. A few past roles include Petra in A Little Night Music (Barrington Stage Company), Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime the Symphonic Concert (Boston Symphony Orchestra,) and Queenie in Lippa’s The Wild Party (Lakeside Theatre). Sophie would like to thank her husband, Skip, for his constant support of her big dreams. @sophiemings
Conor Andrew Hall (Scott)
Conor Andrew Hall is a New York based actor from Michigan. He’s grateful to the cast, crew, author, Daisy Theatricals and the audience.
Lily Welsh (Playwright)
Lily Welsh is a New York based playwright and actor who is super excited to be working with Daisy Theatricals on her play Manic Pixie Dream Girl. Her previous play, Cope in Wonder, was produced by Sarah Lawrence College as part of their fall 2020 season and was staged as a reading with Daisy Theatricals in October 2022. As a theater artist, Lily Welsh has worked with many companies including IVP, Yonder Window, and Speranza. In 2021 Lily Welsh was the recipient of the David Lindsay-Abaire award.
Hannah Katz (Director)
Hannah Katz is a Theater Practitioner who focuses on Directing, Producing, and Arts Administration. Hannah’s philosophy of work centers on radical empathy and joy through the use of theatrical devices. Some projects she is particularly proud of include The Laramie Project (Director, BSC Youth Theater), The Bald Soprano (Director, FSU), and This Event Does Not Exist (Conceiver/Performer). She is thrilled to be working on MPDG with a wonderful team and is grateful, grateful, grateful for her Daisy Theatricals debut.
Katie Brown (Sound Designer)
Katie Brown is a director and theatre artist based in NYC, originally from Palo Alto, California. She is an incoming senior in the BA Directing program at Pace University and currently an Executive and Creative Operations Intern at Jujamcyn Theaters. Katie recently sound designed Confirmed with Daisy Theatricals and is currently designing for The Flight Patterns of Migratory Birds at The Vino Theater. She is very thankful for this opportunity to work with Hannah and Daisy Theatricals again!
Matthew Lopez (House Manager)
Matthew Lopez is excited to house manage his first reading with Daisy Theatricals. Matthew has been a house manager at The Children's Theatre of Charlotte and currently HMs at Signature Theatre.
Allyson Broyles (Resident Dramaturg/Co-Producer)
Allyson is an NYC-based dramaturg interested in feminist theatre, dark comedies, and plays in development. She is working as a Resident Dramaturg with the Letter of Marque Theater Co. and is a member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. Recent projects include acting as a dramaturg for the Draft One New Play Festival and co-producing Daisy Theatricals' Talkin' Theatre program. She hold a BA from Valdosta State University with concentrations in Theatre Management, Theatre Performance, and History.
Randall C. Simmons (Artistic Director/Co-Producer)
Randall is a NYC-based emerging Director-Producer who works primarily in New Play Development. As a director, Randall has self-produced numerous projects - the most recent of which was Dakota Silvey's WILDFIRE with Daisy Theatricals. As the Artistic Director for Daisy Theatricals, Randall works to uplift the voices of emerging playwrights in NYC through free developmental programming and presentations.
